Homeboy Industries - Homegirl Cafe - This is one of my favorite recent photographs because it shows a side of LA that most people do not know of, along with a side of LA that everyone knows. It captures the gritty LA streets that everyone knows, with a reform project (Homeboy Industries), and the Metro rail. Most people think of D.C., New York, or Chi-Town when they think of railways or subways, but LA has one too.
